The winged supermodified is a purebred racing machine. Its tube frame is hand-built, with special considerations for lightness, stregth, and placement of sespension parts.

It weighs 1850 pounds and is powered by a 470 cubic inch, 800+ horsepower engine which hangs off the left side of the frame for better handling capabilities.

The areodynamic bodywork and wings are of aluminum. The back of most of the wings are connected to air shocks which allows the wings to rotate into a horizontal postion on the straightaways, allowing less drag and more speed, and then into a more vertical position in the turns giving the rear wheels more downforce and the car a higher cornering speed.

The results of all this technology gives the winged supermodifieds the speed of an Indy Car adn the quickness of a Midget. It's not uncommon to see a pack of winged supers three and four abreast. Darting in and out of traffic and changing lanes in the middle of the turns.

With out a doubt, ISMA Supermodifieds are the ULTIMATE in short track racing machines!
